  • Jan, be honest. Was your relative DUI. If the answer was yes then why are you defending you relative. You can try to pass the blame on everyone but the offender. The answer is simple, don't drive why intoxicated!!!!!!! Yes there is a penalty for DUI so what is the problem.

  • All vehicles should have these devices but the cost should not be passed on to the owner. I would rather have this than some idiot drunk killing an innocent person. Next should be a device to prevent any use of mobile devices while driving.

  • bmac, you would actually allow your drunk friend to drive you around. Pretty stupid. Why would a sober passanger blow in the device so their drunk friend could drive. Stupid is as stupid does. A better decision would for the sober person to drive. All cars should have these devices in them.

  • Everyone that thinks that it is their right to talk/text on their mobile device while driving better wake up. Just like DUI, this will become as serious a penalty and then maybe this will be put to a stop. I am sick of driving with all these distracted drivers on their mobile device.
